Yoga, Difference, and Inclusivity

This FREE discussion and mindful movement practice is designed to embrace differences that exist all around us, both in yoga and everyday life. Whether it’s your first class or you are a teacher, this workshop is intended for you. We will practice centering breathing practices before moving into a guided conversation around differences of identities, bodies, and levels of yoga experience. Although the workshop does not include a full asana practice, we will move gently in between dialogue to get a feel for some of the different cueing practices for various transitions. Teachers will develop tools for cultivating inclusive, accessible classes, while practitioners will deepen their personal practice around these topics.
Cost: FREE, but please sign up in advance on Beach Belly's Yoga and Wellness Center website, as seating is limited.
